Desert Bus for Hope is the internet’s oldest and most successful charity gaming marathon.
Created in 2007 by internet sketch comedy group LoadingReadyRun, since its inception, Desert Bus for Hope has grown from an event broadcast from a living room to a professionally organized fundraiser that has inspired hundreds of people all over the world to start their own gaming marathons. It takes an organizing committee of 12 people to plan Desert Bus for Hope, and a further 10 to 15 dedicated volunteers once the event begins.
Desert Bus for Hope is known for being one of the most participatory charity gaming marathons. Through the Desert Bus Craft-Along, people from all over the world help us raise money by donating incredible handmade art and goods for auction. Viewers can talk with the Desert Bus crew via live chat, ask questions, submit challenges and make requests so everyone watching can help decide what will happen next.

Also, fun fact - I only should have class Tuesday through Thursday so Ryan and I have been talking. Hopefully I'll stay with him over Christmas break and bring Izzy with to introduce her and Emcee to each other, and get them used to each other. I'll commute 3 days a week and stay at my apartment T-R, and then stay with him Thursday night through Monday night. I'd pay for the gas and cat food and litter, since I'd be eating his food for free. It would help him get used to the idea of living with me after I graduate, and I'd be a lot less needy because I'd get to see him 4 nights a week.
It actually is a really good situation for everyone involved. He said he thinks he's okay with it, and I think he's just worried about the Izzy/Emcee situation.

I went to see my counselor yesterday. I thought I had 18 credit hours left till I graduated, and he updated my file because it hadn't been updated - I only have 12 credit hours. :D

It's weird. I measure myself by how good of a person I am. If I feel I'm a bad person, then I deserve to take laxatives and starve and purge.
Today I went to McDonalds to get food to b/p on. Outside was a homeless veteran who needed money to get a hotel room for the night. I got my food and pulled over and asked him how much he needed. He said he needed about 12 dollars so I went to a store and got 20 out. When I came back, he asked if I could give him a ride to the hotel. We talked about how he was a veteran and got shot and all his brothers and father died in Vietnam and he was the last alive so they pulled him out, and he was very polite and I was thinking to myself that I was so lucky to have a house and a cat and food to eat. He gave me the McDonalds gift card someone had given him because he wasn't going to be around town after today, he was going down to Texas to stay with his daughter.
I dropped him off and he told me how to get back to where I needed to go, and he kissed my hand and went inside to sleep for the first time in two days.
And then I came home and cried because sometimes I don't realize how lucky I am. I was planning on getting the food, laxatives, and then binging/purging and taking laxatives. Instead I didn't do either. I feel like I am good enough, that today I did something good, I can let myself be okay, because I am not a wholly bad person.
I'm considering going into grad school. My teacher thinks that with my interests in French, English, and Dutch/German, that if I wanted to focus on Historical Linguistics and especially the history of the english language, I'd be well prepared. He mentioned a few courses I could take in the spring to also help me out if I wanted a stronger background for when I applied to grad school.
I'm not sure how to do that though, I've only got a 2.7 GPA and I'm afraid I wouldn't get accepted.

Tomorrow - trying again. Calling a counselor. Seeing if I can get counseling through the school or not. I need help with my depression and my eating disorder. I can't keep doing this to Ryan. I can't keep withdrawing from friends.

I got my second loan for this school year. I'm getting 11,000 each semester which is a lot but means as long as I am able to get the class schedule I need next semester, I can graduate in Spring.

I escaped my eating disorder for almost two months.
My self-esteem improved by leaps and bounds. I felt worthy of love and happiness and health. For two months, I ate like a normal person and didn't gain weight or lose any weight and didn't hate myself.
It took two days to completely undo all that. Two days of feeling like shit and quickly unraveling.

7 AM WAKING UP IN THE MORNING GOTTA HAVE MY BOWL GOTTA HAVE CEREAL
No but furrealz, wake up at 7 AM
Ryan: *gets out of bed, gets ready for work*
Me: *pads along behind him, sleepily kisses and stares at him, sits and watches TV as he gets ready*
Ryan: *leaves for work*
Me: *goes back to sleep*
I'M GONNA KICK MY FEET UP, THEN STARE AT THE FAN, TURN THE TV ON, THROW MY HAND DOWN MY PANTS, NOBODY'S GONNA TELL ME I CAN'T
Me: *wakes up, does a tiny bit of housework like washing dishes, showers, lays on couch and watches Netflix all day*
